Sometimes God writes the most beautiful stories through the most unexpected seasons—and my story is no exception.
I’m a wife, mama of two beautiful girls, and a believer learning to walk with Jesus a little more each day.
I grew up in a small town in southern Minnesota—the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and childhood felt full of freedom, sunshine, and endless play. Bikes, rollerblades, knocking on friends’ doors… those are the memories I’ll always treasure.
But like many families, life wasn’t always simple. Our home had struggles and tension, and there were moments that felt heavy for a young heart. Even in those times, God quietly drew me in. I’d read my children’s Bible over and over, fascinated by a God who loved deeply, forgave freely, and never gave up. I didn’t fully understand it, but I loved the feeling it gave me—and I clung to it.
As I grew older, life pulled my attention elsewhere. Teen years, college, mistakes, and struggles left me feeling pretty lost at times. But even in the darkness, God was there—protecting, guiding, and leading me to a new beginning.
On July 22nd, 2018, I was baptized in a small lake in my hometown. Standing in that water, I felt changed. God had carried me through my darkest season, and I was ready to start again. Not long after, He brought someone into my life who would change everything—the man who is now my husband.
Together, we’ve built a life I once thought impossible. Our journey hasn’t been without challenges—years of trying to conceive stretched my faith—but through it all, I learned to trust God’s timing. In His perfect way, He blessed us with two beautiful little girls.
Motherhood is everything I dreamed of—and more. But it’s also exhausting, overwhelming, and chaotic. Through it all, my faith has grown, and I still find myself longing to grow deeper in Jesus every single day. Life can be so full that quiet moments with Him are rare… but when I take that time, everything feels different. I crave Him. I need Him.
Jesus carried me through my darkest moments, restored what felt broken, and gave me a life more beautiful than I ever imagined. That’s why I started this page—not for me, but in the hope that it might help someone else experience His love too.
